Panel IP Address

Am  I right that use Panel you must enter the IP Address each time ?

I presume in that case a fixed IP would be best, currently my router is set to Dynamic IP so I never really know day to day what the address is

Am I missing the point ?

I use bookmarks for that (one internal and one external). The computer itself (which I want to connect to) has an fixed IP so accessing it from within the LAN is trivial. For external access I use a DynDNS (e.g. noIP) service so the IP is also kind of fixed.
