I am running MC23 on a RPi....all installed no problem, I use Panel on my desk top (as does my partner) to control the RPi...I can play music.....but two things bug the hell out of me.

1. Why (unlike Gizmo) is there no "play all" button for the Genre I choose?

2. Why can I not choose continuous or random play on panel?

We can probably fix both.

For now, you could make Car Radio buttons of a few genres.  You can then find them in Panel under the Radio section.

There is another problem I noticed also.....the titles of the cd's are not truncated and so you get a very distorted layout. See attached screenshot.
