Shortcut to WDM driver?
« on: December 17, 2017, 07:42:22 am »

Hi, I use the WDM for playing web music successfully. I switch it out when I play direct from my library.

Question: can I get a shortcut to WDM? It's a lot of walking through menus when we're playing an evening of music we either own or want to stream. It stops the flow when something we don't have is soon found on Amazon Unlimited only to need the sound sorting first  >:(

Quality steps up manifold from the library naturally.

Thanks, hoping someone can help.

You could use Zones to play audio with more than one configuration.  The wiki has a topic.

Set up another zone exclusively for WDM playback and have ZoneSwitch route playback there.

Cheers. I'll give that a go over Christmas when I get some time to myself.
