I recently set my PC up again.
I backed up the JRiver settings and library. Got it up and running again quickly.
However! I am now getting judder after watching video for some time. i.e. Eithe after say 15 Minutes or even an hour or so.
It was perfect before I re-installed and I even tried upgrading to MC23 to see if that helped.
I am quite confused as the settings and hardware are the same as before:
Core i7 7700K, 16Gb RAM, NVidia 980Ti
A device clearly capable of 1080p viewing
It does not matter the content, it could be 50HZ 1080i TS Files or 1080p MKV Files.
What happens is it's starts juddering (well dropping lots of frames) really badly and
even if I Stop Video Playback completely the JRiver Menu is juddering too! It's quite odd.
I am using a Panasonic Plasma connected through a Yamaha Amp.
I can confirm that I think it is OK if I
do not use using Red October HQ so I guess it's a setting in there.
What's odd is how it's fine for quite some time before messing up but once it's messed up I have to restart to fix the problem.
Any idea what settings it might be as it's really annoying?
Perhaps NVidia Driver/DirectX type issue?
P.S. I uninstalled LAV Filters (Only) that I need for some Emulation software as that definitely made he juddering more frequent...originally I installed this as part of a K-Lite codec back which I have since uninstalled too.
