Remote problems using USB UIRT, Girder and Windows 10
doright:
Hi all,
First of all, I'm thinking this is a Windows problem after update but I can't figure it out.
Experiencing some weird problems using my remote and my USB UIRT.
Everything has worked great for the last 2 years since I upgraded to Media Center 22 . Most of my commands go through Media Center like play, pause, toggle, playing now, views, etc. I use Girder to open and close the program and minimize, maximize, etc. About a month ago everything went south. I could open the program but not close it. And once open, I could use one command then it would go inactive. I upgraded to 23 and having the exact same problems. Thinking it may be a firewall issue. I allowed MC through firewall but no luck. It's like after 1 command, MC is no longer responsive.
Been trying to figure this out for days.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Could be a Windows update problem.

USB-UIRT is a finicky device, I have one and have to reboot daily for it to work.
Try different USB ports as well.

Since switching to jriver 23 64 bit my USB-UIRT no longer works. Shows up in options as "failed to start". Any fixes in the works? Really missing be able to use my Harmony Remote with jriver.

It may need a 64 bit driver.
