The HP Media Center Remotes often ship with a transceiver that would probably work.  There are lots of transceivers.  Anything that worked with Windows Media Center should work.

Thanks for looking into and explaining the problem, Hendrik! I will send the USB-UIRT developers an email, and see if they have a solution. It is still possible to buy it through their website it seems, so hopefully there is still someone working support...

I see this topic is pretty old.

Just wondering if anyone had any luck contacting the people over @ USB UIRT to get a 64-bit version of the file needed?

Or found another way to get it working with 64-bit apps like JRiver.
