With MC23 player, cannot resume PLAY after PAUSE

The phone rings. I hit the PAUSE button on MC23 player. It was a scam phone call. I try to resume PLAY and cannot. I have to do a full STOP and then start the track from the beginning. I updated to MC 23.0.94 to see if that resolved the problem, but same misbehavior. Any ideas?

It worked normally for me for many years and many versions of MC, until a week or so ago. No longer... Any suggestions?

have you completely closed MC and rebooted computer?

Yep. I've not (yet) uninstalled and reinstalled MC...

have you seen the post a few down....they seem to be having the same issue, It was told to resume play with the pause button instead of the play button, give that a shot....oh that was with JRemote...but its worth a try...

Uninstalled all old MC versions (except 18, which cannot be destroyed) and reinstalled. Seems to work for now. Thx

It's happening AGAIN! Particularly when I have numerous (15 or 20) browser windows open at the same time. Anybody able to shed light on why browser windows (either IE or Chrome) would bread MC23?
