I've been reading about the "User" accounts from the forum and wikipedia; which is located from tool bar View/User and have this working on MC23.0.103 on my MAC.
Just looking to keep the access to my system and library for the home users. (Wife and Kids)
However, I have a few questions that I am looking for assistance:
1- is there a method to display the current user someplace within MC so that we know who is currently the user?
1A- is there a simple method to display the file(s) that a user(s) have access to?
2- when accessing MC via a browser there does not seem to be a "user login" but seems to follow the current MC app user. Is there no login from the browser so that they can access what they are allowed to? Wife verses Kids.
3- I have been using for the "the files to show" the format -[User]=[].
3A- I created a user "Kids" and tagged a few files for user select for "Kids" and using the above format it displays only those files that I tagged "Kids" great so far.
3B- I created another user "Wife" and using the format [User]=[Kids] for files to show. When I change to the user "Wife" nothing shows up.
