Radio JRiver
« on: June 22, 2018, 03:59:22 pm »

I just tried out Radio JRiver - it really is so good. Excellent work. Just one question is puzzling me: I set it to record the stream for an hour while I went off cooking. In the scheduler it tells me it has done the deed - but where is it - how do I access it? Clicking the radio to play gives me a four hour long playlist (full of excellent music) but where is the steam I recorded. Me being dumb I guess.

There are some things possible now that shouldn't be.  Recording is one.  Sorry for the confusion.  And thanks for your comments.

Thanks for the explanation, looks like this is going to be one of the best streaming services around. Great work.

Tools > Options > General > Features, then check the box next to Streaming.  Radio JRiver requires that you are logged into Doctor Who.

Radio JRiver is working for me and I don't even have Doctor Who installed. 24.0.34 64-bit

That will probably change next week.  Doctor Who is part of MC.  It's at the bottom of Playlists.

Oh I do remember creating a log in for Doctor Who when you first implemented it! Thanks for that info.

I don't have Doctor Who enabled, so it's not at the bottom of playlists (although you may have provided that info for someone else's benefit). I've just been playing with new features, and while I congratulate you on Radio JRiver, radio-style streaming is not something I'm interested in using right now.
