License issues
mogman:
I run an Ubuntu 18.04 PC headless with JRiver 24 installed. It seems that every time there is an update my license goes away and I need to restore it. This has become more of an issue since the restore server is down.
If I take JRiver out of the APT sources list will it just not update and then I can update manually?
Or better yet is there something that I can do that will keep the license from disappearing?
Also is there any news on when the restore server will be back up ?
Thanks

Same here on Debian Stretch.
It seems that every time the kernel gets an update JRiver loses its license.
Help! :)

Hello,
I have a master license as well and just upgraded to Ubuntu 18.04 / Ubuntu Studio 18.04 on my home PCs and licensing disappeared for me as well. I have had issues with updates "de-licensing" me in the past also. When I downloaded an unlock file in the past for MC24, it only worked on one PC, so I have to use a separate restore for each of my home PCs. I'm getting concerned I am not going to be able to unlock all my systems if this keeps up. Oddly MediaCenter 23 still opens fine even after the upgrade.
Please advise.
Thanks!
Jason

Hi Users & Admin,
I have issue with restoring my license. I think it need to be fixed. I have my PC laptop rename to something else. Once I get that changed, the media center 24 just opt me to restore the license. This need to be fixed. And I don't mind to use up next license to restore my mediacenter, however I cant get into the page https://rover.jriver.com/cgi-bin/restore.cgi. Please helps.
