License issues
bob:
I'd like to get more feedback first.
It downloads a massive chromium package on first run (and so starts up very slow the first time).
Before the latest updates, I had seen it spin on the web page thread and ignore DLNA network activity.
BON0267:
Hi there
got the same issue - updated to 24.0.28 a few days ago - license lost - updated ubuntu 16.04 LTS today - licence lost....(only 12 rcoveries left now since this issue started in april ...).
So, how do I update to 24.0.46 to get rid of this issue finally ...
Thanks ...
Awesome Donkey:
All you have to do is paste this in a Terminal...
--- Code: ---sudo wget http://dist.jriver.com/beta/mediacenter/mediacenter24.list -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mediacenter24beta.list && sudo apt-get update
--- End code ---
Then do a normal system update and it should update to the beta.
BON0267:
Thanks... :) :)
update worked - 24.24.0.46 installed, licence recovered - hope this was it!!
(i'll see with the next system update ...)
Awesome Donkey:
It *should* hold, I've done several kernel updates lately in my Ubuntu 18.04 LTS install and the license has stayed in place.
