License issues
Awesome Donkey:
The latest repo is still running 24.0.28, if I recall correctly. If so, it still has the loss of license issue - I'd recommend updating to the beta which has the fixes in place.

A build that fixes an issue this severe should not be available only as a beta...

It's still a beta because of the new internal Chromium web browser integration in 24.0.31 beta, and no builds were considered stable past 24.0.28 (in fact, some were kinda buggy/crash prone). The licensing fixes were added in 24.0.32 and 24.0.35 beta. Meanwhile 24.0.46 beta has been pretty stable in my own testing.

That makes 24.0.46 the better choice for the simple fact that it doesn't just stop working. :)
A build that contains a bug that basically renders the program useless without warning shouldn't be on any official repo.

I agree.
