Hello, tks for the feedbacks. I am a newbe on this.
Expected the encoding settings to be under 'settings' similar to MJ8.
Meanwhile: practically all cd's that I wish to convert are classical. Am not sure whether to take VBR 'high' or 192kbs CBR.
Another thing is that almost no other CD-Rippers, even mj8 as far as I can see, has a possibility to enter a composer. All CD-rippers have "artist", "title". In the classical world, there 'composer', 'artist' and title.
Noticed that MJ8 has an option to enter 'composer'data
but it looks like this info is not kept in the database, i.e.
I am entering -year- -genre- -artists- -composer-, the first 3 indeed show up, but the composer-column remains blanc, although a composer is added.
Secondly it was striking that the cddb-data was retrieved for the first cd, but not for the 2nd and the 3rd...
When using another cd-ripper, data was indeed retrieved...
Strange...
Any suggestions?
(MJ9 is used)
thanks!
