Critical error. The program you are using is corrupt.

Downloaded jriver 24 for Windows from jriver.com

After a few minutes the browser starts and show me following. And shutting down jriver.

“Critical error
The program you are using is corrupt.
Please download from the link above. uninstall the old version and install the new one.”

I even purchased a license and installed it. But same thing still happens.

Are you using any antivirus software? If so, what?

Are you using chrome for your browser? Sounds like you need to run a virus/malware scan (as Administrator). Was the displayed link the correct JRiver download page?

I just installed Windows 10. No other antivirus.

I have Audiophile Optimizer installed too. Maybe it’s that program that is the problem. Or maybe some security settings in Windows?

The browser edge browser by it self and takes me to

jriver.com/critical_error_24.html?error=20

You have a bad version installed.  Uninstall it, reboot, download from JRiver and install.  Then restore your license.

But I got the download from jRivers webpage. Where can I find I correct download?

And the license I bought with the 10$ discount “ritz” is that a bad licence?

Thanks, but I think that’s the place I downloaded from earlier. Do you mean that there was something that went wrong downloading it the first time. Or did I download from a false webpage?

There was probably a fault during the download process. Which version of windows are you running - make sure you download the correct type 64 bit or 32 bit depending on your OS. (32 bit will run on a 64 bit OS but not the other way around)

I think I know what I did wrong. It had to do with how I configured autostart in Windows.
