display cinema mode on TV ?
« on: December 23, 2018, 05:45:17 am »

the cinema mode is nice...
I use it, sending music by jriver DLNA through my box to my HIFI amplifier
perfect !

but, the result on the TV is poor... when the cinema inferface is rich and pretty !

it's seems not possible to send the image of the cinema mode to the TV ?

Perhaps this is an end-user question, and i guess that the DLNA protocol do not include that kind of services, but at the end, that's a pity...

I think that you mean "Theater View", MC's 10-foot user interface.

If you use DLNA, the display is done by the TV.   It uses the TV interface.

You could get Theater View on the TV if you had a direct connection to it, not via network.

thanks for your time and reactivity on sunday!

yes, it's theater mode in english, sorry

Through network, is there a chance that the DLNA client can display more than only the title... ?

perhaps I discovered why it can be useful to buy a media server in a HIFI configuration...
