WDM Driver

The  WDM driver has been in MC since version 20 although the Windows 10 signed driver was updated in JRiver 24. My objection is that why wasn't it ported back to earlier versions too(since its NOT a new feature but something for which the earlier version buyers had already payed for )? When Windows10 came out, none of the vendors(like Logitech/Creative etc) charged the old customers for updating their firmware/software/apps to Windows 10 compatibility.

A significant part of our work is keeping the software up-to-date with changes required by new OS changes.  That includes improvements we make in functionality.  There is a real cost to us of doing this, and we pass it on to our customers.
