When I run JRemote I get odd behaviour with DLNA. I have a Marantz network DAC for audio. When I use JRemote to send music to the DAC it consistently works fine. I have done this for years. It also works with a Pioneer networked speaker I have.
I also have a Panasonic TV. If i am using MC24 from my PC and I select the Panasonic TV as the Zone then play a video, it all works fine. But if I try to play it using JRemote I get strange behaviour. Generally, what happens is that regardless of the zone I pick in JRemote, MC plays the video on the player zone (my PC). I have JRemote set to change the zone on the server if the app changes zone. If I change the zone in JRemote I can see the change happen in MC on the PC. Then If I use JRemote to try and play a video it plays in the player (on the PC). If i change zones in JRemote to player I can see the video I selected in the playlist. Why is the video not playing on the Panasonic TV zone?
I haven't tried this with Panel.
