Automatic zoom
« on: March 30, 2019, 03:22:56 am »

I am referring to this old discussion, https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,99976.msg692695.html#msg692695
 to present my request.

Having a 2.40: 1 screen, I activate the "if there are big black bars zoom the bars away completely" function and in this way the bars above and below disappear and the image perfectly fills the screen. The problem is that the sidebars are also removed in the case of 16: 9 format movies and the image overflows below and above: is it possible to remove ONLY the horizontal bars and NOT the side bars?

You can zoom in and out with a mouse wheel.

This is what I do, but I would have liked something automatic, very useful for films, like Nolan's, which change format several times within the same film. :)

P. S. : previously, when I had an HD 6670 I was able to create custom resolutions like 19020 * 816p and the automatic zoom worked. Since I have the Rx580 no more :( ?
