Probably a driver problem.  Possibly antivirus.

The dreaded Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) failures are often caused by hardware problems but may be caused by an overactive antivirus system. Could you give us your Operating System, and current OS update number? Which version of MC are you trying to install 64 bit or 32 bit?

Hello,
I use Windows 10 64-bit, last update 2019-03, and Kaspersky Antivirus. The old version 24 I installed without problems and it works without problems.

Uninstall Kaspersky to test.

Uninstalling Kasperky brought no succses. Same Information in blue screen. REGISTRY FILTER DRIVER EXCEPTION IFS64.sys (Seems to be a Windows problem)
Information In Google  about this error message don t help me. i am no windows expert.

Did you reboot after reinstalling?

Did you try downloading MC again?

Try the 32 bit version too.
