Sample rate changing problems - no playback
« on: April 21, 2019, 08:07:01 am »

Hallo,

first please excuse my English!
I used JRiver alone for audio playback for many years - with no major issues: JRiver 23 with all updates, win 10, Mytek Stereo192-DSD DAc connected via USB.
For several months now I have problems changing flac files with different sampling rates. That was previously handled - for whatever reason - by pressing the stop button two or three times. For two weeks it has become more complicated: It comes the warning message, my hardware would not support the offered output format - whichever - and I should change that - because I'm too stupid as a user :-)! Well, under the settings everything is correct! So I switch ten to twenty times between warning message and stop and play back and forth, start again, until the playback actually starts! Then it works better, not at all!
An installation of JR 25 did not change anything!
Well, thankful for every tip, Jürgen

Try power cycling all the equipment.

Try a different USB port.

Try MC's option to play leading silence.

You can use MC's DSP Studio > Output Settings to resample everything.
