i did discover with my LG OLED 2016 model that once i enable 3D manually, i can toggle it on and off with a button.   however from that point until i reboot the TV, frame packed will  no longer auto switch the TV into 3D.   this is not Media Center, but i suspect a bug in the TV’s firmware.

I confirm that once 3D button is used on remote of LG E6 … frame pack will not auto-switch 3D until TV is restarted

Another big drawback of Over/Under … cannot easily watch those 3D movies in 2D (with frame-pack output … hitting 3D button on remote toggles movie between 2D and 3D … with over/under - 2D is just over/under lol)

I can think of two way to walk around that limitation:

1. can set up a profile in MadVR to not output O/U for 3D and just output 2D, then assign shortcut button to it

2. create a symbolic link to 3D rip … then can use real file for 3D playback and symbolic link to play it in 2D (for example my 3D files are named *.mk3d … I name *.mkv its symbolic link … then madVR use extension of files to decide whether to play 2D or 3D)
