Cannot convert format
« on: October 06, 2019, 10:35:54 am »

I am trying to convert file format of some of my audio files, but I cannot figure out how to "select" files. When I click the Tools, Advanced Tools, Convert Format button, it says, "Please select tracks you want to convert". I have tried everything to select the files but cannot. I end up playing files instead of converting. How do I select files? And I need step by step. I can rip. I cannot select files in my library to convert.

First of all, make sure you're using the latest build, MC 25.0.113 from here: https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,122466.0.html

You can't convert files directly from an audio CD, if that's what you're trying to do.  Rip the CD, find the files you've ripped, and then convert.  Or rip them to the format you want.

Once you have the Convert window up, just single left click on a tract in a view to highlight/select it. You can use shift/left click or ctrl/left click for multiple selections.  Youcan drag multiple selections to the down arrow box in the convert window.  Once you have the tracks dragged to the convert box, just hit the Convert button in the convert window.  You can use the Details button to see the queue before hitting Convert.
