Converting Playlists from iTunes to JRiver
« on: November 20, 2019, 04:35:26 pm »

I have used iTunes for many years, and have a number of long playlists.  I am moving away from iTunes, both as the primary library for the music files and for streaming to our whole house audio/video systme whole.  I understand the import playlist function, but I believe it will import the playlists with file reference to the iTunes Music Library.
Is there a way to convert the playlists to the JRiver Library?  It would save a huge amount of time vs. manually recreating.

I had read this thread previously, which didn't really answer the question I posed.  Basically, what I see from an imported iTunes playlist is a file that points to an iTunes library.  The question is, can you import an iTunes playlist, and convert it to a JRiver playlist that has a library with Flac files, or do you just have to recreate it manually in JRiver?

That does do playlists.  Try posting your issue there.
