Installing MC26

Right click the installer and use Winrar's option "Extract to <folder name>", open that folder and run the Install.exe in order to install it.

This is very likely caused by antivirus/antimalware software.

I had similar problem. It was caused by Ashampoo Uninstaller which tracks and catalogs program installations. Once I disabled that MC installed fine.

Having the same problem. No matter if i try to install it as administrator or not or use the 32 or 64 bit version it keeps crashing my laptop. Version 25 works without a problem.

Everything installed good (so far) on my Win10 64bit (upgrading from MC25). I still have MC25 on PC, is it safe to uninstall?
