Find Music (Ctrl+F) not as icon in menu bar
« on: May 02, 2003, 12:35:37 pm »

In version 8 it was possible to add the 'find music button' to the customized toolbar.
Now I do not see it in the listed functions, after right-clicking the toolbar.
Using CTRL+F works, but I prefer 1 click on the icon.

Hi
The button is not nessesary unless you are in the libary window because the field to key in your search is always there on top. Only if you are in playing now it dissapears, but you can simply click on media libary to get it back.

I thought same a week ago, found out and was the idiot of the day  ;D

Listening to: 'Land Of Confusion' from 'The Best Of 1980 - 1990 Vol. 6' by 'Phil Collins' on Media Center 9.0

I understand what you are saying. Still I think that the button provedes more confort because after clicking it you can start typing your search arguments right away. In your case you still have to click in the box before you can type (coming from Playing Now).
It is a small thing, but ......

Hi Peter
At least you're right. If we don't use playlists but jump from song to song driven by mood, can't remember the position in the libary well, it's a plus in comfort.
( I do this very often, the reason  why missing the button a week before)

I can't imagine it's a big deal to bring it back.Maybe one of the staff reads this, else it's a suggestion for the
"SP 1"  ;)
