I have an MSB Reference DAC, with the new(ish) renderer fitted (+ a USB connection). I use both Roon and JRiver. Recently the renderer has stopped appearing on the Play Now source list in JRiver (MC25, completely updated).  It was always slow to appear, but now it's so slow that I left JRiver open for 24 hours, and still no sign of it.
I never have this problem with Roon (though I currently prefer JRiver's database playlist process, so would rather use it unless I'm accessing Tidal).
Any Thoughts out there?

Try restarting the renderer.
