26.0.18 Required a Restore

After updating to 26.0.18, needed to restore licence. :-\

Me too, from the MediaCenter260018-x64.exe installer not through the app updater.

My problem is I have now used 2-3 of my restore's for the year just to do an update, and its only January! Does this seem fair?

I also didn't need to restore my license upgrading to 26.0.18.  Was that because I used the MC25/26 upgrade registration key when I first installed MC26, or because MC 26 updated within the program (i.e. rather than using the .exe installer)?   Knowing  whether using the exe installer "burns" a restore while updating within the program won't might be helpful to other users, as would knowing not to worry if you used the MC25/26 upgrade registration key.

Now it seems to happen each and every time I start up the program.  I had 18 installed and clicking on the shortcut previously installed does a reinstall of 18 and asks once again for a license key, etc.

Just want it noted that I had to restore my license also so if the time comes that I have to ask for more, there's documented proof I had this same problem to when the app updated on all three machines i use it on within my network. That's three restores I had to use. Not complaining. I find it weird that JRiver has this glitch but it is early in the build so I expect this to happen.

When you request a licence restore you are sent an email with a .mjr file attached.
This file is valid for a couple of weeks and can be used to register as many copies of MC as you need.
You do not need to keep using up your licence restores to activate additional copies.

Updated a while back, no restore required and everything hunky-dory, what can I say - perhaps a licencing thing? -Hey-ho I sense a distraction going on here!!!
