24/88.2

This is more or less a repost of an earlier post.  This resolution plays back much more quiet than all the others and I don't know why.

I have many 88.2/24 recordings and have not noticed an issue yet however the odd DSD album I have is recorded at a much lower level. I found that you can resolve the issue by enabling volume levelling within the software if you wish or just adjust volume manually.

If I recall correctly you are playing back via DLNA.  This means that the DLNA renderer is making some "decisions" about how to play things back.  Many more decisions than a straight USB DAC would make.  Try playing back locally as a test.  Even if it's just the built in Mac audio.  Use headphones or desktop speakers if you have to.  Just as a test.  This will tell you if it's a DLNA thing, or if it's something "deeper" to be investigated.
