Smart Playlist Did Not transfer from MC25 to MC26
« on: March 07, 2020, 05:17:41 pm »

Hello,

None of my Smart Playlists nor any of my Playlists transferred from MC25 to MC26. Does anyone know how I can get them back?

I'm running version MediaCenter 26.0.29 (64 bit) on Mac OC Catalina 10.15.3.

Please advise.

Thanks,
Maurice

Backup your library in 25 and restore in 26.

Thanks Matt. That worked.

Do you know how I can get my Media Center 26 Icon back in the top menu bar on my Mac? It was there in Media Center 25 but not there when I start Media Center 26.

Sorry, I'm new to JRiver ... but I had the same issue. I did as instructed in previous post (back up on V25 and restore from that version on 26 but that did not restore my playlist from 25...

Any other reasons this could be happening?

Thank you

You may not be restoring from the correct backup file.

In Tools/Options choose Startup and Select Mac StartUp: Start Media Server (or something like that). See attached Screenshot.
