Command line to interact with DSP configuration
« on: April 10, 2020, 04:54:52 am »

Hello, I'm Lorenzo and I'm the sound designer of the Bennet Blank audio systems, which will soon be on the market.
Our speakers have a control system that has integrated JRiver with the VST Dirac Live plugin. We are now analyzing the possibility of being able to communicate with the control system through a mobile application, which is in the design phase, so we would like to know if JRiver has a terminal command or an integrated function that allows you to select and set from the command line a certain DSP configuration.
Otherwise we would unfortunately be forced to analyze alternative solutions.
Thanks for the attention.

Regards

Lorenzo

Take a look at the Devzone  (Developer link at bottom) and at MCWS there.

You might have to do it by setting up two or more zones and selecting the one you want.

generic control of the entire DSP engine is not possible via any remote interface (MCWS or MCC) so whether you can achieve what you want depends on exactly what you're trying to do

/MCWS/v1/Playback/LoadDSPPreset is the MCWS to load a preset & creating multiple zones to hold a particular DSP setup is another option
