Whitebear Stopping
« on: April 21, 2020, 03:04:24 am »

Hi everyone

I am running whitebear through JRiver but i have noticed that it just stops after playing songs. I would then have to play the next one and it will continue for a while then stop. Is there something in the options in JRiver i have missed or is this just a thing?

Could you please provide a bit more info about your setup?

ok so i got Logitech media server running with Whitebear but i play my music through JRiver as white bear /lms appears on the left handside. It plays fine but it does have tendency to stop now and again.

I've been seeing similar behaviour playing to a Yamaha CD-N500 recently. If pulled from the server there don't appear to be any problems but if a playlist is queued up in JRiver and pushed to the player it may play three or four tracks and then stop. You can start it going again from where it left off but you might get a couple more tracks before it stops again. It never stops mid-track. Only ever at the end of one.

There was an issue with the new Audio Path information display that affected renderers that support SetNextAVTRansportURI that was causing odd issues. It's possible that this is one. It is fixed in the next build.

When I run the Whitebear Media Renderer Analysis it says PLay failed => Command Set AVTransport URI failed. Is this the same thing that will be fixed in the update?

Make sure you're using the latest build, 26.0.73.
