asf radio stream problems....

Trying to connect to http://62.25.96.7:80/rrs/ results in a "Directshow: Interface not registered" error.
Checked via wmp and the stream is active.

Weird rating behaviour.

743 of my 5000 files have been rated by MC after 158 install. I didnt rate them.

And the ratings seem strange, alot of 5's and a few 4's.

All files are mpc files.

Do you agree with it's ratings? They may need to tweak the AI engine. It didn't auto-rate any of mine (which I spose means they're 0's), but that coincides with how others would rate my collection...go figure! In my case, it may be more of a "lack of taste" on MC's part than a bug.

Outstanding work, gang!  That's just excellent!  All I had to do was hit up southparkstudios.com and download the thumbnails that they have up for each episode!  Now, where I used to have a LOT of mostly black thumbnails that took forever to load when I clicked in the video section of my library, I now have VERY fast-loading thumbnails that show a bit about the file!  Thanks for the surprise addition, it rules!

I posted this in a seperate thread ... and a some people echoed my concerns, but no one official chimed in, so I figured I'd try my luck here...

Viewing albums as thumbnails is essentially broken for multi artist albums.  It seems MC automatically sorts album thumbnails by the first artist name it sees in an album ... this makes multi artist albums appear in seemingly random places.  Would it be possible fto make a change that sorted album thumbnails according to the sort order specified in details mode?  That's how non-album thumbnails seem to sort...

1. The Bitrate column for vids is unformatted now (shows 3020938, for example).

Looking really good, guys. :)

DirectShow causes MC to jump to the front if it transitions from one video to the next while MC is in the background.

Thumbnail selection bug is still present.

I just noticed the "Show" command in the right click menu for images.

Any chance this could be added to view schemes\playlists that contain images? It would probably make the most sense for view schemes\playlists that only contain images.

The new ability to add image thumbnails to videos is great but... (you knew there was going to be a but didn't you ;D) it is trying to use the same criteria for video as it does for Audio to create the image file name eg Artist and Album.  However I do not use Artist and Album for video as they are irrelevant for something like a series of Futurama.  Any chance it could be set to use the Name field instead??

Adam

EDIT:  Sorry forgot to mention this is when pasting from another source.  I guess this would not affect adding from a file.

Album : Season 2
Name : Raging Bender

That's how I do it, anyway.
