26 in explorer...in other system....cant delete 25...is this because of upgrade from win7....26 ran for 3 hrs then pauuses  3 times then freeses...power button off....3 weeks....cant down load no lincence ###....open in explorer???im lost....sure its easy...sorry cant post screeeen...

Did you try reinstalling the last version of MC25, then try to uninstall it?

Reboot your PC.

If that doesn't fix it, write what you have done, what the messages actually are, and what isn't working, in sentences please. It is really hard to follow what you are writing. So most don't read it.

roderick...i re installed 25..115...ok..i had 26 80..before...3months..ok..just for audio...it had a bug...run 3 hrs...pause for a second 3 times..off and on...then screen would freeze up...no mouse movement....off switch to shut down....this went on for 2 weeks....

un istalled 26 80...lasted 5 days....then bug returned...so i deleted 26  completly....then opened in explorer???...this didnt turn on correctly ..

i have 25..26..in my google drive??  is this the fuss???  should i try to deleate off goog drive???..i have screen shots of the errors...im new to this really...my 1st scr sht...did my 1 audio extract.2 weeks  ago...so cant get 26 to run correct....

Please, as RoderickGI asked, write in complete sentences.

Use a period and a space or two, but not the ... thing.  It makes it no fun to read, so you're a lot less likely to get help.

If you're seeing a pause for 3 seconds a couple of times and then a freeze, you may have a hardware problem or it could be antivirus or ?

But write carefully.  Go back and read what you wrote and correct it.

I broke you single paragraph into three paragraphs above.  Every time you switch gears, add a blank line.  It will really help.

if have 25 .115 running....26.80..or .26 90...a pop up says 26 is running on other program???...i have deleted 25 and 26 off my google drive as instructed.open program and features....i have 25. 64 bit..and 26. 64.bit.  and 25 with a blue pc page no bit # on it.when i try to uninstall a pop up of a j.r. says why im leaving or deleting my ###... i cannot delete out or off these to install new 26.? this is my problem....i have  5 screen shots to post.i dont know how to post on here....this is as complete as i can be...but without screen shots it makes no sense...

Okay, on to posting images onto the forum.

[Background]
On Windows 10 there are three main ways to copy part of the screen to the clipboard for posting into an image file.

• Print Screen:                  This is the "Prt Scr" button on your keyboard. It copies the whole screen as an image to the clipboard.
• Alt + Prt Scr:                  This copies just the currently active windows in Windows. So you get a small sized image, and often that is all you need.
• Windows Key+Shift+S:    This is the keyboard shortcut for the Windows 10 "Snip & Sketch" application, also (previously) known as the Windows "Snipping Tool". A search for "Snipping Tool" on the internet will find more about its capabilities, but I just use the shortcut.

I prefer to use the Windows Snipping tool these days, as I don't need to use an image editor to actually save the file, and I can add highlights quickly and easily.

[Windows 10 "Snip & Sketch"]

• Display a View that shows what you want to include in a screenshot.
• Press the Window Key+Shift+S to open the Windows "Snip & Sketch" application. Hover your mouse over the icons in the small popup menu that displays, and the tooltip will explain what they do. I use the "Rectangular Snip" tool most often.
• With the "Rectangular Snip" tool selected, drag the crosshairs around the area you want to show to select it. When you release the mouse button, Windows will save the image to the clipboard and pop up a Notification. Click the notification.
• Highlight parts of the image if you wish. Unfortunately there is no text tool to annotate the image, but you can sort of write on it with the pen tool.
• Click the floppy disc icon to save the image to a file somewhere, in the png or jpg format. Give it a sensible name. Take note of where you saved it!
• When you post, underneath the window you type in is a blue line of text; "+ Attachments and other options". Click that.
• Click the "Choose file" button, then navigate to the file you just saved and select it.
• If you have more than one image to post, click "(more attachments)".
• Make any notes you want in the post, then Post it.

Done.

[Using Printscreen or Alt+Printscreen]

• Display a View that shows what you want to include in a screenshot.
• If you want to take an image of a just an application window, press Alt+Printscreen. If you want to take an image of the whole PC screen, press Printscreen.
• Search for "Paint" in the Windows search bar, and open the Paint application.
• Paste the image from the clipboard into Paint with Ctrl+V. You could resize the image, add arrows, hide, or highlights parts of the image here if you want.
• Select "File > Save As > JPEG picture". Use the Save As dialogue to select a location you want to store the image. Take note of that location.  I use one location that is easy to get to for the images I use in the forum. Paint almost always remembers that location for me when I save new images because this is about all I use Paint for these days.
• When you have a forum post you are ready to add a picture too, click on the blue line of text; "+ Attachments and other options" menu option below the text entry box. Look down! Blue writing.
• Click the "Choose file" button, then navigate to the location where stored the image and select it. Double click it or click the "Open" button. The file will be added to the bottom of the post. You can add more images by selecting the "more attachments" menu item below the existing files.
• Preview/Post the forum post as usual.

Done.

i have no real typing abilities...i have a learning problem....for me to stop and capital and puctuate is diffacult form me...i had a speech problem in school and made learning awful. i wanted to learn.but lacked the confidence to speak up...i could barely same my name or answer a phone.im now 64 but still never caught up...if i could talk to you now im sure i can tell you the j.r. errors im seeing...see the spelling mistakes??sorry ...im trying to learn this media center....ive had this program at #19...not real long but i enjoy the ease of having song at a click...to install windows 10 will cost me 100.00...so back to learning to fix this and gettinga little knowledge..its simple to fix...did i fail again???

Are you concerned about posting your screenshots here on a public forum? Or is there some other issue?

If you are concerned, you can upload screenshot images to your Google Drive, and then share a link with me via a PM (Personal Message on the forum) if you like.

But it might be better if you had a friend, or found a computer service, that could help you personally at your location. While I understand that you are trying to write what you need, it is still difficult to understand what is going on. So having someone help you at home may be far easier.
