Converted Files Location
« on: July 31, 2020, 06:05:05 pm »

How can I determine where the files I just converted from FLAC to ALAC are located? This is a huge problem I run into every time I convert files. Once the files are converted a window should pop up asking me if I'd like to go to the folder where the new files are located. That would save me so much time.

Here is how I found the files:

Go into terminal, switch to the music directory, then type in the following: find . -ctime -1 | more

What a crazy thing to have to do. And is there a way I can set what directory the converted files go to ahead of time?

Search for the files in MC.  Hover over them to see the location.

If you are converting and importing the converted files into MC as part of the process, they will be in the default "Recently Imported" Smartlist.

If you aren't importing them, they will be where you told the Convert process to put them, as shown in the Convert Format Options, which you should have set, or at least checked, before you converted.
