Dear JRiver team,

After last update's JRiver cannot make search lyrics more than 10 tracks.
I hope in the next this problem will be solved.

For awhile AZLyrics was used as a provider in the lyrics lookup feature and it was reported that some users were getting IP banned from AZLyrics' website. What was happening is the users were causing too many connection attempts to AZLyrics' website by trying to lookup the lyrics of too many tracks at the same time within a short amount of time, which in turn was causing AZLyrics to IP ban those users from their website.

AZLyrics was removed as a provider and this limit was added by JRiver, I assume, to prevent issues with getting IP banned from other sites when performing too many connection attempts when trying to lookup lyrics.

If you turn on Lyrics Display, the lyrics will be looked up in real time when you play the track the first time.  They will be stored for future playback.

You also need to check the automatic lookup option in Tools - Options - General - Online Metadata for the automatic lookup on playback to work.

10 is a bit restricted it’s barely one album , maybe increase it a bit 20 or 30 ?

That problem is for one site - Azlyrics. They have been removed from the lookup list, so are no longer an issue.   My understanding is that the new limit was set just in case other sites have limits.  If JRiver has specific information on other sites, it would be nice to know the details.

For now, just download them on demand when they're played.
