playlist doesn't export to my DAC

Just started using MC

I exported my playlist from MC to my DAC as a M3U file. The music transferred but the playlist is not on the DAC.

Did I miss a step?

Usually, you would play the playlist in MC, not export it.

Use the wiki Audio Setup topic if you need to and test playback of a single file first, then try the playlist.

So I attach my Digital player to the Mac where it shows as a drive in finder. I can drag songs from MC to player in Finder and then when I eject the unit the music is on the player. I was trying to find out how you put the MC playlist on the player. I know in FOOBAR you can (windows version) do this.
