I have it set to use the Chromium engine, since IE is officially dead.  I get this when I try to log in...

Is there a solution for this, or can I just not log in at all inside MC?

The IE engine isn't dead yet.

What version of MC are you running?  27.0.43 is available.

YouTube blocks integrated browsers for some reason now. I don't think there is much we can do to fix that with Chromium. But we do have plans to replace/augment the IE Engine with the new Edge at some point (Edge is also based on Chromium now, afterall), so as long as you are on a recent Windows 10 you would get a modern browser control, and maybe it would also bypass that particular problem, although I'm not sure about that.

Jim, you're right, it's not dead yet, but "The browser will be finished on 17 August, 2021, the company said."

I'm using the most recent version of MC.

Hendrik, thanks for the info.  I tried both IE and Chromium and both fail.  I clicked the "learn more" link in the message YouTube returns, and it says

To help protect your account, Google doesn’t let you sign in from some browsers. Google might stop sign-ins from browsers that:

Don’t support JavaScript or have JavaScript turned off
Have unsecure or unsupported extensions added
Are being controlled through software automation rather than a human
Are embedded in a different application

the bold is probably the issue.  however, they do continue and at the bottom they offer this

Information for app developers
If you implemented "Sign in with Google" with the Chromium Embedded Framework, you’ll need to migrate to a more secure alternative:

Switch to use browser-based OAuth.
Migrate your desktop app to a Progressive Web App.

I suspect this isn't a fix for MC, but thought it might offer some help.

Either way, thanks for the prompt response.  I'm gonna disable it in MC now, since without logging in, I only see the general crap they push on everyone, which is of ZERO interest to me.
