Unsure if you want this considered a "bug" or otherwise, but for info:
Windows 10 flags version 27.0.43 as harmful to download and harmful to run. Users have to override Windows protections to download and install this version. (Doing that, it worked fine.)

Just did an in-place update thru JRiver MC, everything went smoothly, no Windows protection warnings. Tried a download from the link here, no problemo again.

Confirmed. This started after I reported a window drawing issue with the tree which was fixed. I'm sure it's related to that (and its fix).

E.g., on one PC (an MS Surface Pro 4), just displaying the Options screen can occasionally take 10-15 seconds. Very weird.

Parametric EQ GUI contains a bug.

When multiple divider lines are inserted, and these lines contain comment text, like:
----------Bass EQ below----------
----------Roll off top end---------
----------Midrange room correction below---------

When the MC app is exited and restarted, all the divider lines are still present, but all except 1 have their contents reset to the default:
----------

So in the example above, one comment is lost, and you end up with:
----------
----------
----------Midrange room correction below---------

This corruption does not occur merely from closing and reopening the DSP Studio dialog. It happens when the app is closed and restarted.

I can reproduce that one, close media server (not just the UI) and reopen it and the content is reset to default.

I have uninstalled jriver27 and downloaded again, but the problem is still there.

While in theater view, the television guide and recorded TV screens flash intermittently, and place the cursor in random places. 

I've also had problems recording shows using theater view, and pressing the record button on the remote.  I end up with a series of 1-5 minute snips over the 30 or 60 minutes that the show was recording.  I'm recording in .ts format.  The shows record fine if I schedule the recording from standard view.

I have also seen these issues. The screen flashing when in guide mode if I am recording. I have had three cases where it continued to record even though it does not show it. The only way to stop it was to reboot the PC. Shutting down MC did not stop it. I am also on 27.0.43. I am beginning to think all of these crazy issues are due to the latest windows updates.

Bug report - please redirect me if this is the wrong place.

MC27 does not display the space after a semicolon. Please see attachment - there should be space after the semicolon but the tag automatically deletes it.

There's a bug in the import/export dialog of the search wizard, where it mangles search terms utilizing the ^ operator to indicate a whole word.

It makes it functionally impossible to enter certain searches, except step by step using the wizard.  It definitely needs to be fixed.
