Hey guys,

Some folks at my "other" forum have asked if iPod will work with MJ the same as it works with MC.  We've been telling them no, because we know that it doesn't.

However, I've also been telling them that, as best as I can remember, MJ8 will be turning into MJ9 soon.  I've told them that when MC9 is final, y'all are gonna take a copy of it, prune out the MC-only features, and bottle it as MJ9.  

Finally, I've speculated that the iPod will work the same on MJ9 as it does on MC9, since they'll be using the same code, just with different features.

I was just wondering if I had my story straight, so I figured I'd get it from yonder horse's mouth.

It's too soon to say what will happen next.  We won't think about that for a month or two.

Please don't promise anything.  If they need iPod support, it would be best to just send them to MC.
