1. Fixed: While a recording on a DMS channel or an IPTV channel was going on, watching the channel might not show the entire available video if the recording is longer than the default time-shifting window.
2. Changed: ListFilter(...) string comparison is no longer case sensitive.

1. Fixed: Recording of an IPTV channel would fail if no IPTV channel had been watched previously since MC startup.

2. NEW: When bitstreaming DSD at a higher rate than bitstreaming supports, it will just down convert the DSD so it will still be a DSD bitstream.

4. Fixed: DLNA Conversion to DSF was setting the header of the DSF file to an incorrect number of samples (2x the real amount) resulting in odd or no playback on some devices.

4. NEW: Tag() expression function will return any image XMP tags that are not JRiver database fields, for example, Tag(XMP: Label).  Also, Tag(EXIF: Make) and Tag(EXIF: Model) will return make and mode of the camera, individually (whereas [Camera] returns a combination of the two as before).
5. Changed: Diverting to a DLNA zone will issue a seek (since bookmarking is not supported) to retain the playback position.

I had a workflow where I would tag and rename files in MC while listening to music with no issues but have noticed in the last few days that MC would not rename files while music was playing. At first I thought it was an AV issue as it appeared that renaming was just delayed; I think now that the files would be renamed when the playing tracks changed. I will see it every time when I hit the stop button; all the files would be moved or renamed all at once. Oddly (to me) playing a video in MC had no effect on moving or renaming files. So I launched a streaming service (Tidal) as a work-around while I finished my tagging task (I just got the 200+ CD JS Bach complete box set from DG) and noticed that file operations stopped again while the music played. Close Tidal and the files moved. I use MC's driver in Tidal.

MC 28.0.49 has issues playing Blu-Ray discs with MakeMKV integration used for decryption.

When trying to enter Blu-Ray Menu mode MC crashes and terminates.  Same behavior is observed when trying to select a different title during playback.

When playback is stopped and then immediately re-started on the same disc MC also crashes and terminates.

I reported the Menu and Title issue on the MC 27 page and was told to try 28 since it's "further along".  The stop and re-start problem was discovered while testing MC 28.

Any chance this can be fixed?

Are you using any visualisations from Soundspectrum? If the answer is "Yes", try switching to cover art instead, then try again... I'm pretty confident that will solve your issue. Let us know.

With the last couple of versions when I start the program the initial screen shows an error msg regarding "the web browser engine (see attached).  I'm using MS Edge (the latest version).

When in Standard View and enlarged to full screen, MC fails to yield focus to other open programs when their taskbar icon is clicked. This happens primarily when trying to switch from MC to my browser (any browser, not just one).

This does not happen consistently, but fairly frequently and has for the past few builds.

Anyone else seeing this?

Lyrics Lookup seems to duplicate the first verse in all (Or maybe nearly all) Lyrics that it downloads.

I have it set to auto download lyrics and it seem to repeat the first verse on pretty much every song it has downloaded lyrics for.
