I use a Usb-Uirt Module with JrMc 28 32bits + Oppo 203 Remote.. and it works fine. MCE remotes are cheap...
Excuse please, but I'm a newbie and won't be using JRiver player until I get my new desktop with BD drive to feed my TV and 5.1 surround system. JRiver is the only Windows BD player I can find which along with DTS decoding and full surround support has slow motion AND zoom.
Most BD players don't have zoom, or can even always use it because many BDs are authored with BD Assn approved software which even in default mode likely locks out zoom control. That's the case for example with most Criterion, Universal and Sony BDs but not so with Warners, Kino and most Twilight Time BD releases.
What's even cooler is that while all Oppo BD players, like my 95, have zoom none let you move the zoomed image to center it on the screen. How dumb; even my lowly JVC XV-NA70BK DVD player can do that-as can my Pioneer LX500 BD player.
But I believe a decrypter like RedFox AnyDVD HD needs to be running in the background for JRiver to then let you zoom on any BD. Yes?
And you can use your Oppo 203 player's remote to control JRiver player? If yes, how can it or some other remote control device control slow motion and zoom when playing a BD?
Usb-Uirt alone no, but JRiver + event ghost Yes... and much more... I think that a beter integration of UsbUirt, in Jrmc would be fantastic..
Again, though a newbie with no hands on yet, I have cursorily perused this page
https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Remotes#JRemote And I also found
http://www.usbuirt.com/ Which of these remotes offer the easiest way to slow mo and zoom a BD movie?
AND which will also allow you to move and center the zoomed image on the screen?
