Hi Glenn,
What version of MC are you using?

Do they play if you import them first?

Try updating to the version in the first thread here.

If that doesn't work, where did the files come from?  Do they play with WMP?

What codec is being used?  If you don't know, you can download a program called Avicodec (http://avicodec.duby.info/), which will give you the specifics.

You might not have the proper codec installed.  There are some great "codec packs" such as Nimo's (http://www.divx-digest.com/software/nimo_pack.html) that should cure any problems.

yeah, i installed the new WMP and when it runs it gives me an error, "unable to download correct codec" or something a bit like that... the movies play in WMP, but no sound, and they still don't play in MC.  thanks, i'll get the codecs...
