Can’t import Cloudplay files
« on: October 25, 2021, 02:08:21 pm »

Hi,

I have downloaded a bunch Cloudplay files. Some of them I have imported using the Import to library command, conveniently accessible from the right-click recent command menu.
Now this menu option has been sorted out in favor of other commands. The problem is that I can’t find the Import to library option, despite I’ve searched through the entire menu system. No luck. What do I missing here?

I’m running version 25.0.115 (64-bit)

Thanks!

Tools > Import in MC.

But you're not importing the files.  They are just links.

Tools > Import in MC.

But Tools > Import only applies to local files, doesn't it?

But you're not importing the files.  They are just links.

So how come Cloudplay files I have imported become visible in default MC views like Albums, as opposed to files that not have been imported?
And, imported files also appear in the default MC playlist 'Recently Imported', whereas not imported Cloudplay files, don't end up there?

Please clarify!

Thanks.

That's an old Cloudplay problem.  Please try MC28.

Can you choose to import/integrate Cloudplay files in your local library, that I described in the previous post, using MC 28?

Why is this a problem? I only see advantages if you can choose to integrate/import Cloudplay files to your local library.

Thanks.
