No build tonight

We won't release anything tonight.  We're working on a hardware problem.

Have a good night.

Always gut renching news :(

Like having been punched hard in the ribs.

I sympathise with hardware problems though.

Server here at work stopped working today - rebooted the machine, couldn't find an OS, used a boot disk and it couldn't find the C drive. put it in my machine and it saw all the drives but the C drive was TOTALLY empty. The whole OS, program files etc had all just disappeared.
Lost the domain controller, Exchange server, everythin :(

That's why I'm here till 11.30 tryin to get the system somewhat runnin again before tomorrow.

Nila, I know what is that. Just imagine myself troubleshooting two fibre channel libraries of 20hdds each, these two connected to a fibre channel hub. This hub connected to two servers with fibrechannel controllers running two windows 2000 servers as a cluster. Oh running exchange server, IIS, platinum accounting, MAS90, etc, etc. ALL DOWN!. So I stayed until 4:00am with a pitza in one hand and Microsoft in the other. So I know. My simpathies.  ;D

Love the image turbo - that's basically the life of sys admin's :)

Anyway, gonna have to rebuild the whole server machine today with RAID 1.

Lost the whole domain controller and everything on it.

Grr - NO idea what caused it or what happened either which is the worst part.
