Multiple PC's managing a single library
« on: March 17, 2022, 08:52:57 pm »

What are the recommended settings for running one library from multiple PC's with identical playlists. Not all PC's are running at the same time. How can I keep them in sync and have updated playlists on all PC's whenever powered up.
Can the library be stored on a NAS?

The wiki has a topic called Media Network.

One machine serves the files.  It can import them from a NAS.

The others connect to it to play files.

If I make changes to playlists on one machine, how do I see that on another machine the next day if the machine where the changes were made is not running?

Changes on clients are synced to the server.

Changes on clients are synced to the server.
Yes, if authentication is enabled on the server.
