Updated to MC29 and some things are not quite right?
« on: May 15, 2022, 06:50:50 am »

Hi Guys,
I updated to MC29 from 28 a couple of days ago and there are a couple of things not quite right.
Can someone shed some light on these issues please.
Firstly, in the top title header it states JRiver Media Center 29 with Remote underneath; I have never had Remote show up before, am I running the full version upgrade that I paid for? Or have I done something wrong which maybe causing some of the these issues;

When I tag my metadata, I attach an album image to each track as well as a cover image called Front.jpeg. I am using Bubbleupnp and before the  update all my albums had cover images within the library (in JRiver and tablet view). Now I have random albums that have lost their cover images within the library view on my tablet (not in the library view of JRiver), when I play the album, the track embedded cover shows on the tablet. When I stop playing the tablet cover view disappears in the library view?
My process of upgrading was to follow the instructions sent to me in the upgrade email.
Thanks for any help with this weird anomaly. I had previously upgraded from MC 27 to 28, following the email instructions, with no issues.
Cheers
Andy

Remote is the renderer you're playing to from MC.  Select another in the top section of Playing Now.

Sorry JimH, I am not sure what you mean by this.
I am using MC 29 as my library, streaming my music through Bubbleupnp to a Lumin player.
Can you give me steps to remove the Remote please as I have never had this before, I am playing the same way I have through MC27 and MC28.
Is this the reason why some of my cover art is not showing?
Thanks

Open Playing Now and click on Player to return to normal MC use.

If you set up Bubbleupnp to use "Remote", I can't help with that.

DLNA can use a renderer for playback.  Read setup instructions here: https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/DLNA
