Help with Installing mc29 on rpi4 64 bit os
« on: July 17, 2022, 07:52:45 pm »

Could someone please post guidance on how to install mc29 on an rpi4 64 bit os?  It appears that the quick-start guide instructions for doing that have been removed.

Thanks,
Rabbit

Easiest way is to use the installJRMC script.

Thanks for your response, however when I try that I get the error message "command not found".

yep.  I must be missing something in my understanding of the process.  I tried both options (curl & zip file download) and the script file is on my machine.  Executing the command "installJRMC"  I get: "bash: installJRMC: command not found".

If installJRMC is not in your PATH then you will need to call it directly with './installJRMC'. Also note that I haven't done any testing on Raspberry Pi OS so I'm not sure if it will work on that OS, but you can give it a shot and report any issues with --debug on.
