We'll send you one.
We do email you an invoice when you purchase. Did you not receive it?
---------------------
For example, we received this from a customer yesterday:
Invoice Number
Invoice date
Seller: Company Name and Address (not only Company name as in mail)
Buyer: Name and Address
Product: Media Center 28 Windows
Price: $19.98
Otherwise I cannot use it here in the EU.
----------------------------
He included what we had sent:
>JRiver, Inc.
>
https://www.jriver.com>
>INVOICE
>09/06/2022 04:34:13
>
>[customer name removed]
>
>Media Center 30 Master $27.98
>
>Paid by CC
>License below
------------------------
So, I think what we're missing from what we already send is only:
our company address [we will add this]
customer address [we can add a couple of lines for this, but it's often not entered by customers]
---------------------
I personally find this absurd since
jriver.com is an explicit address and a physical address can be found there:
https://jriver.com/company.htmland presumably the purchaser's name can be easily tied to their own address if the government wants it.
And ... in all the time we've sold software, I'm not aware of any problems with government audits challenging a sale. My personal opinion is that governments don't read 99.99% of what we send them.
But ... we will send you an invoice. Thanks for your purchase.
