Crashes requiring app restart
« on: December 19, 2022, 01:53:49 am »

Hey, I've had an ongoing issue with MC29 since an update a few months ago where the app requires a reboot if left for a few hours. I can browse, click a track to play but then the hourglass symbol pops up then a few moments later a "app is not responding" system notice appears.

I suspected something to do with windows 10, so yesterday I did a clean install of windows 11, installed MC29, then a few hours later the same issue. MC has been running fine for years, the problem appeared a few months back and hasn't relented.

My MC29 is connected to a local server running a MC29 docker image, the app is running on an Intel NUC connected via (and plays audio through) HDMI to an LG tv.

Configure Windows Defender.  There's a thread on it on the forum.

Are you using any other antivirus or security software?

Test without Docker.

Test with local files only (same machine).

Take the lid off the NUC to see if heat is a factor.
