What is the path to the installation folder?
"C:\Program Files\J River\Media Center 27\Media Center 27.exe"

In an attempt to make the MC30 work, I uninstalled MC27 and now I can't reinstall MC27 again.

No folder (path) for Media Center 30.

You must have some other antivirus or other similar software running.

None, just Microsoft antivirus, which comes with MS Windows, "Microsoft Defender".

Just for yuks, turn Defender’s antivirus feature off and try.
